After graduating, I ventured West and attended San Diego State University where I was a drama major (surprised?). College years also included a stint at Hunter College in New York City and was followed by graduate work in acting at The Webber Douglas Academy in London. During the next seven years, I did the whole "acting thing" and lived in New York City doing a number of plays, and regional theatre tours. It was a wonderful, crazy experience. I also spent time in Los Angeles making rounds on the television circuit. I never made the cover of People magazine but Luke Perry did come into my dressing room on the set of 90210 to introduce himself!
In 1996 David and I were married. We have two kids. Abigail is 5 1/2 and David Jr. is 3. I hung up my acting shoes and am happy to be a stay at home mom. We have lived in three states in seven years - Georgia, Washington and now we're in Maryland. We live in Bethesda - just outside Washington, D.C. The White House is eight miles away - which, lately, has felt like the safest or most vulnerable place to live!
